Horizon Crossword is a premium daily crossword game built by Horizon Studios LLC. It features 365 daily mini crosswords with “Today in History” themes and a campaign mode spanning five eras of civilization. The game is built with privacy at its core — no account is needed, no personal data is collected, and everything stays on your device.

Data Collection

Horizon Crossword stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Puzzle completion history and campaign progress
  • Statistics, achievements, streaks, and star ratings
  • Theme and settings preferences

We do not collect:

  • Personal information of any kind
  • Your location
  • Your contacts
  • Device identifiers for advertising
  • Analytics or behavioral tracking data
  • Any data for the purpose of selling to third parties

Data Storage

All game data is stored locally on your device. There is no cloud sync and no account system. Your data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

Horizon Crossword uses the following third-party service:

  • Apple StoreKit — for processing premium subscription and lifetime purchases on iOS

No other third-party services are used. There are no advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or tracking services in the app.

Purchases

Horizon Crossword offers a premium upgrade ($4.99/month or $14.99 lifetime) that unlocks all themes, etymology details, the full campaign, and advanced statistics. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We never see, collect, or store your payment information.

Children's Privacy

Horizon Crossword does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for all ages because it collects no personal data and contains no advertising, behavioral tracking, accounts, or social features.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. You are in complete control. Deleting the app removes all data permanently. There is no cloud backup and no way for us to access or recover your data.
