Overview

HORIZON is an atmospheric incremental idle game built by Horizon Studios LLC. You kindle light in darkness, grow generators, and walk a landscape from night toward dawn. The game is built with privacy at its core — no account is needed, no personal data is collected, and everything stays on your device.

Data Collection

HORIZON stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Game progress and save data
  • Generator levels, prestige count, and unlocks
  • Settings and preferences

We do not collect:

  • Personal information of any kind
  • Your location
  • Your contacts
  • Device identifiers for advertising
  • Analytics or behavioral tracking data
  • Any data for the purpose of selling to third parties

Data Storage

All game data is stored locally on your device. There is no cloud sync and no account system. Your data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

HORIZON uses the following third-party service:

  • Apple StoreKit — for processing the optional First Light upgrade on iOS

No other third-party services are used. There are no advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or tracking services in the app.

Purchases

HORIZON offers an optional one-time “First Light” upgrade ($4.99) that unlocks cosmetic features and quality-of-life improvements. The purchase is processed through Apple's App Store. We never see, collect, or store your payment information.

Children's Privacy

HORIZON does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for all ages because it collects no personal data and contains no advertising, behavioral tracking, accounts, or social features.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. You are in complete control. Deleting the app removes all data permanently. There is no cloud backup and no way for us to access or recover your data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
