Horizon Words is a daily 5-letter word guessing game built by Horizon Studios LLC. It features a 12-hour time budget, sun proximity indicators, and hard mode. The game is designed with privacy at its core — no account is needed, no personal data is collected, and everything stays on your device.

Data Collection

Horizon Words stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Game progress and puzzle history
  • Statistics (games played, win rate, streaks)
  • Theme and settings preferences

We do not collect:

  • Personal information of any kind
  • Your location
  • Your contacts
  • Device identifiers for advertising
  • Analytics or behavioral tracking data
  • Any data for the purpose of selling to third parties

Data Storage

All game data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults (iOS) or localStorage (web). No data is transmitted to any server. There is no cloud sync and no account system. Your data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

Horizon Words uses the following third-party service:

  • Apple StoreKit — for processing optional theme purchases on iOS

No other third-party services are used. There are no advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or tracking services in the app.

Purchases

Horizon Words offers optional premium themes. On iOS, purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We never see, collect, or store your payment information.

Children's Privacy

Horizon Words does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for all ages because it collects no personal data and contains no advertising, behavioral tracking, accounts, or social features.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. You are in complete control. Deleting the app removes all data permanently. There is no cloud backup and no way for us to access or recover your data.
