A new daily puzzle is available every day at midnight UTC. There are 365 daily 5x5 mini crosswords, each themed around “Today in History” events. Your streak tracks consecutive days completed.

How does the etymology feature work?

After solving a puzzle, tap any completed word to see its etymology and origin story. This premium feature reveals the fascinating history behind everyday words — where they came from, how they evolved, and what they originally meant.

How do star ratings work?

Each puzzle awards 1 to 3 stars based on your performance. Stars are determined by completion time and accuracy. Earning 3 stars requires solving the puzzle quickly with no errors. Your star totals are tracked across all puzzles in your stats.

How do I restore my premium purchase?

Premium ($4.99/month or $14.99 lifetime) is tied to your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to manage or restore your purchase. Reinstalling the app should restore access automatically when signed into the same Apple ID.
